So Now You're a Leader: Course Outline
We're thrilled you're here. We can't wait to guide you through this 9 week self-study course to help leaders like you, thrive and succeed in your career.
This course was designed to be digested and implemented with your busy schedule in mind, so we suggest working through a module a week, for a total of 9 weeks.
However, you have access to all of the modules, and if you'd rather blast through all of the modules in one or two sittings then that's completely up to you. Whatever is going to work best for your learning style and life commitments.
Course Outline:
Each module is between 8 to 11 minutes in length, and comes with a downloadable and interactive workbook (You can access this as a downloadable file within each module section, but you will also have a copy attached in your weekly email) to put the teachings into practice.
The weekly email will breakdown each module into further detail, include your workbook and the tasks that you need to do in order to complete the program.

What should a leader's calendar look like?
In our first module together, we focus on how we can go from being and operating in a transactional capacity to that of a strategic one.
We take a deeper look at how we can focus less on output quantity and focus more on outcome quality.
What is culture and what can you do about it?
In module 2 we peel back the layers so we can shift from operating as an individual to collaborating in as a collective.
The emphasis in this module is focusing less on me and how we can focus more on we.
What's the goal of public speaking?
Module 3 breaks down the delivery of information and being an informer to becoming an influencer (don't worry TikTok or dancing in videos not required!)
We will spend time looking at how we can focus less on information sharing but focus more on influencing behaviour.
How do you make meetings more creative, innovative and collaborative?
Module 4 looks at how to shift from contributor to a collaborator.
We discuss how to focus less on creative ideas in the singular and focus more on creative environments that are conducive of more collaborative and better ideas for everyone.
What does a great one-on-one meeting look like?
Module 5 delves into how we step out of a telling mentality to that of an asking one.
We focus our efforts less on having great answers but more on asking great questions.
How do you develop a team of problem solvers?
In module 6 we task you with reframing you position in delivery to your role of development.
You will spend time looking at how you can focus less on doing things but focus more on developing people.
How do you learn to say no more?
Module 7 will be spent looking at how we can focus less on saying yes to everything and focus more on saying no to the wrong things.
Why do people follow you?
In module 8 we reframe your position into your purpose.
This involves focussing less on leading from title and more on leading with vision.
How do you harness the strengths of a team?
Our last module together will be spent harnessing your weaknesses and turning them into your strengths.
The focus is less on being well rounded and more on being well surrounded.

At the heart of this course is the understanding that great leaders aren't born - they're made. While natural talent is certainly a valuable asset, it's not enough on its own to ensure success. To truly excel as a leader, you need to develop your skills and knowledge in areas like culture, communication, creativity, performance, and more.
By working through the nine essential shifts outlined in this course, you'll be able to transition smoothly from team member to people leader. You'll learn how to prioritise effectively, build a positive culture, communicate clearly and authentically, foster creativity, navigate difficult conversations, drive performance, manage your time efficiently, set a compelling vision, and develop your capabilities as a leader.
