Learning That Leaves No One Behind: Inclusive Learning as the Backbone of Business

September 4 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEST

Learning That Leaves No One Behind: Inclusive Learning as the Backbone of
Business

The future of work depends on our ability to learn—but not everyone
experiences learning in the same way. Yet despite increasingly diverse
workplaces, many learning experiences, meetings and workplace systems are
still designed for a “default” participant, unintentionally leaving people
behind.
In this special Movement Circle conversation, Maria Doyle, Shaheen Hajira,
Aisling Smith and Katrina Loukas come together to explore what truly inclusive
learning looks like—and why it is fundamental to the future of work. Bringing
together expertise in instructional design, inclusive learning,
neurodiversity, behavioural science, trauma-informed practice and
organisational wellbeing, they challenge long-held assumptions about how
people learn, connect and perform.

Together, the panel explores how organisations can move beyond one-size-fits-
all learning and create environments where every individual has the
opportunity to contribute, grow and thrive. From designing accessible learning
experiences and embracing neurodiversity, to creating psychologically safe
workplaces and embedding systemic wellbeing, this conversation demonstrates
that inclusive learning is far more than a training initiative—it’s a catalyst
for innovation, belonging, performance and organisational success.

This episode is ideal for HR leaders, Learning and Development professionals,
organisational development practitioners, people leaders, facilitators,
educators and anyone passionate about creating more inclusive, human-centred
workplaces.

Key takeaways include:

  • Why inclusive learning is a strategic business imperative that strengthens engagement, innovation and organisational performance.
  • Practical strategies for designing learning experiences, meetings and workplace systems that work for diverse minds, backgrounds and ways of thinking.
  • How neurodiversity, trauma-informed practice and behavioural science can help organisations unlock hidden talent and foster psychological safety.
  • Ways to move beyond compliance and create cultures where knowledge is shared, people feel they belong, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Actionable approaches to transforming learning from a “tick-and-flick” exercise into meaningful experiences that create lasting behavioural change.

At Cuppa.tv, we believe meaningful conversations create
meaningful impact. Join Maria, Shaheen, Aisling and Katrina as they reimagine
what learning can be—and show why designing for inclusion isn’t simply good
practice, it’s the foundation of healthier people, stronger teams and more
successful organisations.
